What is an EPP/authorization code?

An EPP code (also called an auth code or transfer key) is a unique password assigned to your domain by your current registrar. It verifies that you are the legitimate owner and authorize the transfer.

Will my website go down during the transfer?

No. Your website, email and DNS records will continue to function normally throughout the entire transfer process. There is zero downtime involved.

Do I get extra registration time with a transfer?

Yes! Every domain transfer includes a free 1-year extension added to your current expiry date. For example, if your domain expires in 6 months, after transfer it will expire in 1 year and 6 months.

Can I transfer a .pk domain?

Yes, we support .pk domain transfers. The process is similar — you need to unlock your domain and obtain the EPP code from your current registrar, then initiate the transfer with us.

What if my domain is locked or expired?

You must unlock your domain before transferring. If your domain has recently expired, you may need to renew it with your current registrar first. Domains in redemption period cannot be transferred.
